Cool Mornings and Warm Afternoons

September 17th, 2008

A busy, beautiful day with the mornings crisp and cool in the low 50’s.  You can tell Autumn is on the way, but the day still warms up nicely and the insects are all about.   But the days are marching on so fast now, where does the time go?!  In our area it’s time to plant (or decorate with) mums, and the kids are already thinking of that special day of sweets at the end of October.  Here’s a Great Fritillary to start your day!

    Good pic.

Before I left this morning, my wife told me she was buying mums for the front porch on her way home today.

    Cheers.

I think I’m going to take advantage of this fall like weather and take some days off. I have an arbor that I promised to build the wife still to make.

Yes, these are perfect days for projects, and you don’t want to get to January with unfilled promises! :)
