Days of Reflections

November 20th, 2009

“Reflection is a flower of the mind, giving out wholesome fragrance;  but revelry is the same flower, when rank and running to seed.”

Funny how the older I get, the revelry of youth turns into the reflections of maturity.

  2. Love the Erasmus quote. Reflection is a skill which is not well-practiced, I’m afraid.

  3. OH, blue skies. heavenly.

  4. The photo and the quote go together–plenty of water for Ermasus to reflect on in Rottadam

Was Cathy from Santa Cruz visiting you.

  6. Ed- Yes, sometimes there’s a lot to think about ;)
Randall- So true for me also… I’m trying to do that a little more.
Chook- They are heavenly… we’ve had a beautiful November!
Sage- Good point! I didn’t think of that…
Vincent- Not that I know of :)

my error entirely, Beau. I was reading the LA newspaper. Where Cathy is BIG, she has invented something to make teeth pristine. Not just white, beyond that by a good country mile. It reflects like your pond.
My error, I forget sometimes just how large the US is, and just how close in other ways.
Still, granted one should not have gnashers that give the impression you have just removed the head from some carcase, some use of ones teeth is if nothing else, logical.

  8. Vincent- Ah! Too funny… :)
